14 Point Computer Tune-Up

For a thorough computer tune-up/check-up, we perform the following 14 services:

1. Check System Memory (RAM)
We check to make sure your computer has the minimum amount of recommended RAM. RAM is the amount of memory Windows and your programs have available to them. The more RAM, the faster your computer will run, up to the limits of your Windows version.
What’s the Fix?
If your computer is low on RAM, we can order and install additional memory for your computer for an additional fee.

2. Check Service Pack Level
We check to make sure your computer has the latest Windows Service Pack installed. Service packs are major updates which include bug fixes, security fixes and performance improvements. You should install the latest Service pack to keep your computer running at its best.
What’s the Fix?
If your computer needs a service pack, for an additional fee, we will download and install the latest service pack software for your computer and test to make sure the service pack installed correctly.

3. Check Hard Drive Size and Free Space
We check the size of your hard drive and the free space remaining to make sure you have adequate space to store your files and install new programs.
What’s the Fix?
If your hard drive is close to capacity, for an additional fee, we will take your computer to our shop, copy all your programs and files to a new, larger capacity hard drive. Then we’ll return and setup your computer test to make sure it’s functioning.

4. Check Windows Updates
