The Internet: Point and Click Your Way to the World (Wide Web)
The
world at your fingertips – that is one way of looking at the Internet. What
does it mean to Google something and why should you care? Look up a plumber
of great repute in your neighborhood, find a long lost colleague or old pal,
what is the current value of your home? Shop till you drop and not spend a
dime on fuel or bus fare. Plan your trip to the Azores. All this and a lot
more is available at no more than a point and click. Let wizard Edward Zeidan of
Nerd4Rent in Lafayette show you the yellow brick road to the World Wide Web
and beyond. He promises no headaches along the way. This class will be
held at The Lafayette Community Center 500 St. Mary's Rd, Lafayette.
