Internet Searching
We'll cover how to use a search engine, such as Google to find whatever
you're looking for on The Internet. You'll learn how to filter your searches
so you can get the right information faster and easier. Want to look for
people, businesses, pictures, maps? This is the class for you.
Working with Digital Photos
This class will show you how to copy digital pictures from your camera to
your computer, how to edit the pictures for lighting, brightness, and
contrast, remove red-eye. We’ll also learn how to crop your pictures, how to
email them friends and family, and much more.
Introduction to Microsoft Excel
Do you use a spreadsheet but want to learn a few new tricks? Want to save
time by creating a formula? Want to learn about shading, borders, headers &
footers? If so, this class is for you. We’ll cover: how to create a
spreadsheet, how to create a formula, how to format your spreadsheet, how to
add titles and page numbers to your spreadsheet, options for printing your
spreadsheet, how to protect your spreadsheet format & formulas, etc.
Introduction to Microsoft PowerPoint
If you need to make a presentation to a group, then this is the class for
you. We'll cover how to create a simple presentation using Microsoft
PowerPoint. We'll add text, graphics, tables, charts and more. We'll
discover how to use some of the popular special effects to liven up your
presentation.
Introduction to Microsoft Publisher
Microsoft Publisher is an easy to use program for creating marketing
materials for business and home. This class will show you how to create
Flyers, Newsletters, Brochures, and more.
Introduction to Microsoft Word
Have you always wanted your Word lists to line up perfectly? Did you know
that Word can calculate numbers? Come to this class and learn these, and
other useful tips. We’ll cover: margins, tabs, tables, fonts, bullets,
numbered lists, and more.
The Internet: Point and Click Your Way to the World (Wide Web)
The
world at your fingertips – that is one way of looking at the Internet. What
does it mean to Google something and why should you care? Look up a plumber
of great repute in your neighborhood, find a long lost colleague or old pal,

This informative class will cover the basics of computer ownership for
seniors. We’ll describe what steps to take to keep your computer running
well, when to replace vs. repair, and give recommendations on what features
to look for in your next computer.

Elderberry Room.
