Remote Support for Clients

We now offer Remote Support to our Clients. Remote Support allows your skilled Nerd to temporarily see your computer screen, and control your mouse and keyboard, in order to perform many services on your computer-it's just like we're sitting there in person! With Remote Support, we can often serve you ore quickly, and for a lower cost than an on-site service call.

Our fee for Remote support is $2.99 per minute, with no minimum. Charges for Remote Support will be billed to your credit card.

Questions about Remote Support
q: Why would I want to use Remote Support instead of scheduling a live visit?
a: In many cases, we can provide Remote Support more quickly, and less expensively.

q: Is Remote Support safe?
a: You only provide us with temporary permission to control your computer. You can see everything we're doing, and you can stop the remote control at anytime. After the Remote Support Session ends, we have no access to your computer unless you grant permission again.

q: Is Remote Support difficult to setup?
a: No. Remote Support is simple to setup. Just call our office and setup a time for your Remote Support session. Your Nerd will call you and provide a 6 digit PIN code, which you'll enter into the box on this page. Then a small program will be installed on your computer. We'll be remotely supporting you in about 3-5 minutes.

q: Will Remote Support work with my Dial-up Internet connection, or with my Mac?
a: At this time, you need a high-speed Internet connection (DSL, Cable, Astound, etc.), and a PC or Mac to use Remote Support.
