Many legitimate companies belong to the Direct Marketing Association. These companies regularly check delete people from their mailing lists, who have registered with the Direct Marketing Association.

Of course, Spammers, and other marketers who are not members, will still send you their offers, but registering will cut down the amount of advertising you receive.

If you write to these addresses, please include your name, address and telephone number. Be sure to include all addresses for the past 2 years.
